There’s no such thing as a body that doesn’t look good in lingerie. But there IS such a thing as understanding your proportions and choosing styles that make you feel your absolute best. Here’s a practical guide organized by silhouette — not by size.
There’s no such thing as a body that doesn’t look good in lingerie. But there IS such a thing as understanding your proportions and choosing styles that make you feel your absolute best. Here’s a practical guide organized by silhouette — not by size.
Hourglass Silhouette
If your waist is noticeably narrower than your bust and hips, you have an hourglass shape. Your goal is to celebrate those curves. High-waisted garter sets, fitted bodysuits, and balconette bras that lift and frame the bust look stunning on this silhouette.
Pear / Triangle Silhouette
Wider hips with a narrower bust? Draw attention upward with embellished or structured bralettes, push-up bras, and tops with ruffles or lace detailing. For bottoms, boy shorts and high-cut briefs elongate the legs beautifully.
Apple / Round Silhouette
If you carry more weight around the middle, look for pieces that cinch at the waist or flow over it gracefully. Babydolls, chemises, and empire-waist sets create an elegant silhouette. Underwire bras with side support provide lift and definition.
Petite Silhouette
For shorter, slimmer frames, delicate fabrics like fine lace and soft satin create beautiful proportions. Avoid overly heavy or thick fabrics. Triangle bralettes and high-leg briefs visually elongate the body. Look for pieces with minimal bulk in the waistband.
Fuller Bust Silhouette
Support is everything. Look for bras with wider straps, full-cup coverage, and reinforced underwires. Balconette and t-shirt bra styles that lift and separate create the most flattering shape. Many of our pieces are available up to cup size H, designed specifically to look as beautiful as they are supportive.
